Description

This short-sleeved top features a print of an original pattern made from pressed peony and buttercup flowers that bloom in spring, as well as asparagus ferns. The process of pressing the flowers brings out new, beautiful colors that are directly applied to the pattern. The pressed flower pattern print is applied via inkjet printer to 100% acetate satin fabric, which has a unique luster and finely creased texture reminiscent of the surface of water. Acetate is a semi-synthetic fiber derived from wood pulp and is characterized by its silk-like elegant sheen and feel. After sewing, the top undergoes a product pressing process which creates distortions in the pressed flower pattern that express the appearance of paper and imperfect beauty created by chance.
