VIGOR
This poncho expresses the vitality and strength of plants through its pattern that combines flowers with drawings. The base pattern was created by applying paint directly to dozens of different plants to make a print, and by layering a silk screen over foliage to apply pigments. Freehand drawings were then added to create a pattern with movement. The base colors were inspired by the "seven flowers of autumn," such as pink nadeshiko, valerian ominaeshi, and Japanese silver grass obana, that signify the changing seasons in the Manyoshu, the oldest Japanese anthology of poems. The difference in shrinkage between the cotton and wool fabrics beautifully expresses the intricate details of the pattern and the brushstrokes of the original artwork. The pattern of this product varies slightly from item to item. Please note this in advance. Product Information Material: 80% wool, 20% cotton Country of origin: Japan Front opening:button
