Description
This trench coat, inspired by the volumes of the 1920s Car Coat, one of the first unisex pieces in modern history, pays tribute to Jeanne Lanvin, one of the first couturiers to play with the codes of men's clothing for women. The triangle on the back is inspired by the geometric mosaic in her bathroom and is enhanced with topstitching on the waistband and cuffs, an embroidery technique she developed to structure the feminine silhouette. The technical cotton fabric is lightweight and ideal for an elegant, casual mid-season daytime wear.
