Description
Using special traditional Polish crochet technology from Koniakow, Magda creates a new crochet line incorporating lace floral patterns. This technique of manual crocheting from very thin threads has been developed for over 140 years. It is characterized by unique patterns – floral motifs passed down from generation to generation. In Koniakow about 700 lace makers are still engaged in this tradition, therefore making it the largest lace centre in the world. The hand-made gloves pull up just above the wrist to accentuate the rose pattern and the decorative trim. Each glove is subtly embellished with a rose bead in silver.
