Sunbleached wool cardigan
Description
The knitwear cardigan comes in virgin wool with a sporty double stripe across the chest and collar plus a zip-up design. It is part of the sunbleached group with the fabric receiving a faded effect for a worn-in look. It comes in a ribbed finish to enhance the texture and features the Maison’s work-in-progress handstitching down the centre and at the back of the collar. It also has inside-out seams reminiscent of the original piece it was inspired by – a cardigan in the making, frozen in time. Maison Margiela's signature, the four stitches, appear at the back; the opposite of a label.
