Description

Classic Japanese bag in distorted check print, an homage to the Surrealist movement and style. Gives the illusion of a distorted shape and the contents inside the bag. Inspired by the traditional Japanese technique of origami, the iconic bag portrays a triangular shape with a top handle and a Margiela 6 label on the front while the Maison’s signature stitch adorns the back. The snap button on the edges allows for a change in shape, further revealing another trait of the origami inspiration. A nod to the Maison’s deconstructionist code.
