Description
A brogue shoe designed after the EMEROR™ golf shoe, originally released in 1970. The upper is made from domestic leather crafted in Himeji, one of Japan's most renowned leather-producing regions, using the world-famous "Kobe Beef" leather, finished by Japanese artisans employing traditional techniques. While maintaining the classic elegance of leather shoes that THE ONITSUKA is known for, we have pursued further improvements in comfort. Special emphasis has been placed on enhancing flexibility and cushioning, resulting in a lighter and more comfortable fit. The midsole features highly responsive foam from heel to toe, improving both cushioning and flexibility. Additionally, the heel height has been increased by 7mm. The heel of the sole is equipped with Alpha Gel Foam to improve shock absorption. The insole design combines foam materials of varying firmness, maintaining cushioning while offering support to reduce arch collapse and heel instability. The outsole is made from rubber sponge, which provides both durability and cushioning.
