His work is about nuances of human behaviour, often focused on interaction and body language. Alec works with different mediums, from pencil on paper through to large scale sculpture. His latest jewellery collection exclusive for Paul Smith, was inspired by the stories of challenging moments and turning points in the lives of his friends and family – the series gives us a glimpse into the lives of others; first kisses, going to prison, giving birth.
