The Sky Rocket. Cut from luminous gold metallic silk-lamé, The Sky Rocket dress evokes pure old Hollywood glamour. Features a fitted bodice and a street-sweeping full and flared skirt. Chevron bodice seaming, long line puff sleeves and frill detailing. Crisply gathered frills adorn the neck, sleeve and embellish the skirt in a chevron design. Centre back concealed zip closure. Lined with gold threaded silk chiffon. Length measures 117 cm from waist to hem. Upper: 56% wool, 22% polyester, 22% silk Lining: 85% silk, 15% polyester This very fine quality silk lamé is fragile and should be worn with care. The delicate silk threads achieve a beautiful depth of colour and texture but result in lamé that is easily snagged. We recommend that after each wear any loose threads should be carefully trimmed. The raw edged hem will fray with wear and is part of the design aesthetic.
