Description
The Sky Rocket. Intricately constructed from iridescent silver metallic silk-lamé, The Sky Rocket dress features a fitted, darted bodice and a street-sweeping lightly flared skirt. Gathered frills adorn the neck and sleeve edges, whilst metallic frills zig-zag the skirt with chevron embellishment. Centre back concealed zip closure. Lined throughout with silver threaded ivory silk chiffon. Length measures 117 cm from waist to hem. Upper: 56% wool, 22% polyester, 22% silk Lining: 85% silk, 15% polyester This very fine quality silk lamé is fragile and should be worn with care. The delicate silk threads achieve a beautiful depth of colour and texture but result in lamé that is easily snagged. We recommend that after each wear any loose threads should be carefully trimmed. The raw edged hem will fray with wear and is part of the design aesthetic.
