THE DESIGN STORY According to Homer's Oddesy , Calypso was a sea nymph who lured Odysseus to the island of Ogygia during his ten years of wandering. Formed of two parts, the Calypso Bangles are composed of a roped design surrounded by molten golden forms, tricking the eye and attracting the gaze. These nautical artefacts are a poem or praise to the craft of embodying the intangible and harness the alluring rhythm of the sea in each sculpted emblem.
