THE DESIGN STORY According to Homer's Oddesy , Calypso was a sea nymph who lured Odysseus to the island of Ogygia during his ten years of wandering. Formed of two parts, the Calypso Bangles are composed of a roped design surrounded by molten golden forms, tricking the eye and attracting the gaze. These nautical artefacts are a poem or praise to the craft of embodying the intangible and harness the alluring rhythm of the sea in each sculpted emblem. Details Made in Greece, from up to 35% recyclable bronze double plated with 18 and 24 karat gold. Artfully hand-sculpted, fully adjustable. Weighs 41.2 grams. *sold individually
