Drangajokull is a streamlined GORE-TEX parka designed for the city. A sleek waterproof shell keeps the outside, outside. Premium white goose down ensures warmth in all weather. Taped seams, low-profile pockets, and a removable fox fur ruff add further utility. Given its advanced materials, it shouldn’t surprise you that Drangajokull can handle the Arctic Circle’s worst. Given its looks, it still might. The body of Drangajokull is cut from two-layer GORE-TEX faced with a rugged matte nylon. Articulations throughout make the parka refreshingly agile. Plentiful pockets provide room to spare. Behind it all, 800-fill white goose down provides exceptional warmth for weight. Adjustments on the hood, waist, hem, and sleeves allow for personalized fit or extra weather resistance, whatever conditions require. All animal products used in 66°North products are ethically-sourced from audited suppliers. Our down comes from a long-time German supplier, who has been certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) Downpass, and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The fox fur used is VET-certified and comes from Saga Furs, a heritage Finnish fur supplier whose supply chain audits and animal welfare programs met our rigorous standards. Drangajokull is cut to be worn with a mid-layer, with this specific edition tailored to the needs of the modern woman. Those between sizes should size up.
