Crafted from a 2-layer WINDSTOPPER® shell fabric by GORE-TEX™. Description & Fit Since its first release in 2006, Þorsmork has kept thousands warm through Arctic winters and remains one of our most classic and beloved unisex parkas, featuring a printed map of the unique Þorsmork landscape on the inner lining. This iconic Icelandic nature reserve is named after the Norse god Thor. The parka is insulated with high-quality 700 fill-power recycled down, while the outer layer is made from a 2-layer WINDSTOPPER® shell fabric by GORE-TEX™, providing wind protection, excellent breathability, and reliable water resistance. All animal products used in 66ºNorth products are ethically-sourced from audited suppliers. Our down comes from a long-time German supplier, who has been certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) Downpass, and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The parka features a detachable fur trim. The fur trims are supplied and specially selected by Feldur Verkstæði, a company with extensive experience in producing leather goods and fur products, ensuring both quality and a responsible sourcing process for the Icelandic market. The skins themselves are produced by Saga Furs. The jacket also features six zippered front pockets, taped seams, and drawstrings at the collar and waist for an adjustable fit. The Þorsmork Parka fits loose to accommodate mid and base layers underneath, while draw strings in the collar and waist allows for size adjustment.
