I have to admit, this is a bit of a mystery. A beautifully made 1940s satin baseball outfit, with "Alpha" chainstitch embroidered across the chest. This could have been a civilian piece, or could have been made for one of the many "Alpha Companies" that exist in the US Army. I'm afraid time will never tell. This is an authentic, pre-owned vintage item. It may show signs of wear, discoloration, shrinkage and other. For sizing, please check the garment’s measurements provided against a piece you already own to ensure this is the correct size for you.
