The N1 Boot references WWII era Marine field boots. Cut with a wider forefront and narrow heel, for a semi-anatomical fit originally designed for demanding shifts at sea. Built using Viberg's 2040 last, the boots have a minimalist design, allowing for the raw materials and construction to speak for itself. This release features a Waxed Flesh leather tanned and treated by Chicago's Horween Tannery. Made from the flesh side of the leather, Horween begins with a Chromexcel base which is fully vegetable re-tanned, hot stuffed, and hand glazed for a textured, tight finish and semi-gloss luster. The boots are anchored Viberg's signature stitch-down construction.
