The Lot. 201 Trousers are modeled after American workpants from the 1940s, reimagined with a clean, low-rise silhouette. The straight lines drop neatly from the thighs, giving them a sturdy yet versatile shape. The waistband is designed with buttons on the reverse side, a nod to traditional suspender styling, offering both function and historical detail. Cut from a revival of TWEEDUROY, the fabric brings a unique texture and depth to the trousers. Originally developed by the Hockmeyer Company of Massachusetts, TWEEDUROY is a corduroy, first used in the 1930s for boys’ clothing and school uniforms. While it offered durability compared to wool, its tweed-like appearance also suggested refinement, and eventually found its way into adult garments.
