This 1950s Varsity Jacket from Warehouse & Co is a faithful reproduction of an original from their archive, inspired by the off-duty jackets worn at West Point. These jackets were a staple at varsity games, especially the fierce showdowns against their biggest rival, the Naval Training Academy, best embodied in the legendary slogan: “Sink Navy, Beat Navy.” Cut in Japan from 100% melton wool, the Lot. 2240 varsity jacket comes in a classic navy colour-way, with contrasting yellow detailing on the the waistband, cuffs & collar, as well as the snap button closure. It’s lined with soft cotton-rayon twill for comfort, while two slash pockets trimmed in leather add durability.
