These sneakers were originally adopted by the U.S. Navy as training shoes in the 1940s. Key features include a specially shaped sole that provides excellent grip, even on slippery ship decks, and a slightly raised heel that allows water to drain away efficiently. The upper is crafted from stain-resistant Cordura® nylon. The 500-denier Cordura® nylon used provides exceptional durability for its weight, along with excellent water resistance.
