Emerging designer XIMONLEE collaborated with Reebok Classic to create this innovative shoe, which fuses iconic running style with a scuba-inspired aesthetic. Summary An upper inspired by a combination of the waterproof trail aesthetics of the Reebok Hydro Series and scuba boots and equipment. The tooling references DMX trail shoes from the Reebok archive while incorporating modern elements. Construction The upper is constructed of a two piece neoprene booty with splits that define both the silhouette and the design lines of the shoe. A hot melt mudguard protects the lower half of the booty, while flow molds extend from the feather line in reference to the Reebok "Side Stripe" gesture.
