BWNT Elena Dawson 2014 Black Classic Silk Blazer XS Size: XS Shoulder: 15” Armpit to armpit: 17” Length: 28” Sleeves: 24” Measurements are measured on one side with garments laid flat (Waists and Hips are doubled) and are provided as a courtesy only- not a guarantee of fit. Notes: Classic Black Blazer from Elena Dawson, formerly working under Paul Harnden Shoemakers, i think from 2000-2006 when she left to start her own label Very classic model from the label, documented in a David Mosser video here: https://youtu.be/ooidBxHitXs?si=paiuc7wWakGEhPr7 The blazer is apparently lacking the writing of compositions on its lining, although there is a Comme Des Garcons tag that indicates the jacket is made from Rayon/ Viscose, which we highly doubt since its not usual for the label to use such processed material. Hence we presume the blazer is actually made from silk, we recommend you check the video we linked above to throughly understand the features and material of the blazer before you purchase (Dover Street Market probably had distribution rights for Elena in Asia, hence the production omitted the composition writing on the lining and instead opted for CDG to just sew a composition tag on, idk) Elena Dawson has a signature style of interrupting the construction of her garments, often leaving piece unfinished, in this case only half of the lining is sewn on and a lot of loose threads that accentuates the unfinishness of the garment Peak lapels with a convertible design to close up, with two button closure that can be buttoned either way as demonstrated in the above video The cuffs can of course be flipped up for the elena enthusiasts look, theres still a black lining shown Made in the Elena Dawson Studios in England Composition: 100% Silk Lining: 100% Cotton Condition: 5/5 (Perfect condition, no signs of use. ) Defects: N/A Price(including shipping): $1000
