For Kazuhisa Komura, his inspirations for Pour Les Hommes line are mostly from the 1990’s era. In his own words :”The brands that participated in fashion shows back in those days, their designers, the “rock” style (i.e. styles that have their own philosophy), and the club culture – these arenas are primarily based on the good-old styles, but entail an aggressive energy to convert these well-established modes into a new style.” Absolutely stunning pieces from the brand’s earlier discography, they captures Komura’s vision for menswear perfectly. Both are constructed from a durable canvas denim material, features similar suede and leather patchwork that altogether shapes like “flame” or “claws” throughout the pieces, with 5351 branded hardware as zippers and buttons.
