You’ll race past the competition in the Altra Vanish Carbon 2. Details - Upper: Incredibly lightweight mesh keeps the shoe light and breathable. It has Altra’s Slim Footshape™ Fit, giving you plenty of lockdown around the midfoot as you race. - Midsole: Altra’s Ego™ Pro cushion provides a soft, yet responsive ride. Altra increased the amount of cushion underfoot (as well as the stack height) to provide more comfort and durability on the run. A new full-length carbon fiber plate delivers a 14% increase in asymmetry to give you a more natural stride while still propelling you forward. This combination also gives you improved flexibility.
