Part of the Japan series from April 2019, the NMD_R1 'Japan Colorblock' features prominent Japanese branding at the base of the heel. The upper is built with Core Black knit textile, contrasted by white Three-Stripes on the quarter panel and accented by red taping underneath the heel patch. A heel counter supports the fit, while underfoot, the Boost midsole includes white stripes at the forefoot. EVA plugs are included for breathability.
