To celebrate the 30th anniversay of the Air Max 1, Nike released a series of colorways that included this Air Max 1 OG Anniversary 'Obsidian.' The shoe features a white nylon upper overlaid with Neutral Grey suede overlays, with more suede emerging in Obsidian along the mudguard and Swoosh branding. A padded collar is designed for a more cushioned fit, while the hits of contrasting University Red appear on the branding, eyelets and outsole. The classic visible Air unit provides cushioning.
