Description
The Donkey Puncher is a logger-style lace-to-toe boot made of a premium deerskin. Ezo Shika are Japanese deer that live in Japan's northern Hokkaido region, living an extra rugged life in mostly snowy areas. To make these boots using Ezo Shika deerskin two layers must be used: the liner being an oiled tanned leather, and the outer shell being a waxed finished tanning that's burnished. These boots are constructed with the highest-quality stitching and craftsmanship, and are renowned for their immediate comfort from the start. The name Donkey Puncher comes from the engineer that operated a "steam donkey", a piece of machinery used for logging in the late 19th century.
