Description
A reproduction of USN and USMC low quarter shoes, first issued in WW2, John Lofgren's version follows the same construction guidelines as the original, but built with premium materials and made ultra robust. The khaki uniform, which included a low plain toe shoe, was first approved for officer use in 1941. The original low quarter shoes were made in black or brown chrome calfskin, had a Goodyear welt leather sole, a plain toe, and followed a classic blucher pattern, all seen here in Lofgren's version. The JLB version is elevated with luxe French calfskin, Italian made Vibram soles and US made Quabag heels, and Japanese made flat welt and steel shank.
