Designed in partnership with Tremaine Emory’s streetwear label, the Denim Tears x ASICS Gel MC Plus ‘Georgia Red Clay’ applies a burnt orange finish to an archival 1995 running shoe created by Shigeyuki Mitsui, the original designer of the iconic Gel-Lyte 3. The monochrome finish on the mesh, leather and suede upper draws inspiration from the summer days that Emory enjoyed as a child in Harlem, Georgia, where the unpaved roads were covered in red clay.
