Taken from the luxury fashion house’s Spring 2021 ready-to-wear collection, the Balenciaga X-Pander Sneaker ‘Red Silver’ features an eye-catching design centered around a contrasting dynamic. A weathered aesthetic distinguishes the leather-free upper, composed of ventilated white mesh with synthetic overlays in grey, silver and reddish-orange. While the retro layered build recalls running shoes from the early 2000s, the sneaker’s futuristic tooling is in keeping with designer Demna Gvasalia’s vision of ‘how fashion will be in 2030.’ The lifted heel features a 40mm arch that compresses and springs back with each step.
