Part of Nike's concept branch dubbed N.354 in honor of Steve Prefontaine's fastest mile, the Air Force 1 Low Drop Type 'Pink Tint' was launched in July 2019 with a deconstructed design. The tongue is cut away to expose soft foam padding, while interior stitch taping and engineered mesh are also given the inside-out treatment. An adjustable strap around the heel is a significant update from Bruce Kilgore's 1982 classic, but a perforated toe box and rubber traction remain intact.
