Released in February 2016, the Nike KD 8 'Aunt Pearl' was a tribute to Durant's late Aunt Pearl who passed away from lung cancer in 2000. The colorway features a pink and purple floral print on the upper, black Swoosh, white midsole, pink translucent outsole, and 'Think Pink' ribbon on the heel. Proceeds from the 'Aunt Pearl' were donated towards the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
