The sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 ‘OG’ celebrates the vintage running shoe’s 50th anniversary with a modern build conceived by Chitose Abe. The designer’s signature double-themed design makes a return on this pair, highlighted by a white nylon upper with a second collar and tongue finished in a contrasting navy hue. Crimson accents land on the retro leather Swoosh and dual-branded heel tab, partially obscured by stacked overlays in royal blue and grey suede. A hairy grey suede overlay atop the toe maintains the shoe’s vintage ‘70s aesthetic. The foam midsole is updated with a protruding heel piece and exposed Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot.
