Nike collaborated with Japanese designer Jun Takahashi to create the Undercover x Wmns Daybreak 'Black Sail,' a futuristic take on a classic runner from the late 70s. The old-school silhouette made famous by Joan Benoit Samuelson's 1984 Olympic Marathon victory gets remade with unconventional details in this concept shoe released June 2019. Among changes to the original design is a sharp, speckled heel clip that angles up to the back of the collar for dramatic effect.
