Released in the mid 1970’s, the Sk8-Hi was the first skateboarding shoe to feature leather paneling. In 2015, Vans continued to collect first-ever designs with the release of a brand new blacked-out colorway of the silhouette. The Sk8-Hi 'Triple Black’ features a black canvas upper with quilted details along the ankle and integrated mesh elements for breathability. The sneaker also sports a black leather side stripe, a vulcanized midsole for comfort, and a waffle outsole for superior traction.
