- The 1953 Type II Jacket is a slightly modified version of the iconic Levi's Type I Jacket made in 1936. The denim jackets made of durable selvedge denim had long been seen as a symbol of the American workman at that time. This jacket features the Lot 507 leather patch with the "Two Horse" design, double pleated placket, waist adjuster belt, and capital "E" red tab. The yarns of the denim are dyed with dark pure indigo. The jacket is made of denim fabric as woven without any finishing process (the jacket will shrink significantly by washing).
