Vintage Wool Houndstooth Jacket and Wrap Skirt Suit
Description
This vintage 1980s Italian suit from Gucci features a houndstooth fabric in shades of brown, black muted green and rust. The jacket has an attached black suede suede belt with a single suede button that closes the jacket. It has a shawl collar, shoulder pads, and two little flap pockets with suede trim that are functional but still sewn shut. The wrap skirt is brownish black and closes with two suede buttons. It also has two flap pockets with suede trim. Both pieces are labeled Italian size 46 which is generally equivalent it US size 10 or 12. Measurements indicate that these pieces are closer to a modern size 10 . Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding size and compare with similar garments that fit you. JACKET MEASUREMENTS - Shoulder width is 18" - Chest is 40" - Waist is 32" - Sleeve length is 23.5" - Length is 28.5" down center back excluding collar. SKIRT MEASUREMENTS - Waist is 30" - Hips are 39" at about 9" below waist. - Length is 28.5" down center back including waistband CONDITION Both jacket and shirt are in excellent condition without any notable flaws.
