The back of the dress is made the same way, but it doesn't have the extra fullness in the skirt. And it's not just the style but also the beautiful gold and white open lace shell that's fit for a queen. The color of the gold was difficult to depict accurately in the photos; it's a soft "old gold" color without no yellow or brassy tone. The long sleeves close with self-covered buttons and loops at the wrists, and closure is with a back zipper. The lace shell is a nylon and polyester blend, and the white lining is silk. The dress is labeled size 8, and measurements indicate the dress would be suitable for a size 6 as well.
