BILL BLASS Paisley Beaded Lace Cocktail Dress with Beige Lining SZ 8 NWOT Beige is having a "moment" right now, and this absolutely gorgeous 1990s cocktail dress from Bill Blass is beige at its very finest! The dress features stunning beadwork embellishing an off-white paisley lace shell. The "beadwork" comprises little matte gold paillettes, white paillettes, tiny white and silver glass beads, and tiny pearls. These (and more) outline the paisley pattern in the lace and also form little flowers throughout the lace. The dress is lined in beige silk chiffon that shows through the open lace and gives the dress most of its color. I can't say enough about how beautiful this dress is! And it's actually very lightweight - not weighted down like the heavily beaded dresses out of India from the 1980s. There is no fabric label in the dress, but the lace shell looks like cotton, and the beige lining is definitely silk chiffon. Labeled size 8. MEASUREMENTS - Underarm chest measurement is 34.5" - Waist is 31" - Hips measure 39" - Length is about 39" down center back. CONDITION Excellent condition with no apparent flaws.
