After designing exclusively for haute couture clients since 1958, Mila Schön delivered her first collection of ready-to-wear in 1971. This rare and unusual vest probably dates from that era, but no later than the early 1980s. The shell is made in "100% Calf Domestic Leather" trimmed in an unspecified fur. The leather is thin but also stiff by design to hold a deliberate shape at the waist. The brown lining looks and feels like silk. There is no size tag, but measurements indicate it is in the woman's L/XL size range. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size and compare with a similar garment that fits you.* MEASUREMENTS - Shoulder width is 16" or 18" including fur - Underarm chest measurement is approximately 42" - Waist is about 36" - Length is 24" down center back including fur. CONDITION Excellent condition with no significant flaws.
