Other DesignersJEAN CLAUDE VITROIS Vintage Black Suede Jacket with Patent Leather Patches SZ M
Description
This rare 1980s black suede jacket from French couturier Jean Claude Jitrois features wide dolman sleeves and a wrap waist with peplum. The front of the jacket is covered in black patent leather patches in random shapes that have been deliberately scuffed, perhaps to add a slight element of grunge to the design. The jackets closes by crossing the two sides at the waist and tying them in back. This makes the wearable size of the jacket somewhat variable depending on your waist size. The jacket is lined in a black fabric that is probably rayon (viscose). There is no size tag, but the size of the jacket really depends on how much it crosses over at the waist. If your waist is small, it will wrap more, and the V-neck will be higher. With a larger waist, it will wrap less, and the neck will be a little lower. I am putting it in the M/L size range. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size and compare with a similar garment that fits you. MEASUREMENTS - Underarm chest measurement is approximately 42" - The smallest the waist can possibly be is about 25" but I believe it could go up to about 28 -29". - Functional chest and waist sizes depend on how much the jacket crosses over at the waist. - Length is 23" down center back. CONDITION Very good condition without any notable flaws. Patent leather embellishements are deliberately scuffed as part of the design.
