Vintage 1990s Blue Silk Snakeskin Print Backless Mini Dress

Although at first glance, this Prada dress seems to have only one shoulder with a big bow on it, it actually has a second, albeit much smaller strap, on the other shoulder. The dress itself is almost a straight-sided shift style - we have it clipped in the back so as not to fall off our mannequin - in a lighweight silk fabric printed with a snakeskin pattern in shades of blue, gray, and black. The three solid colored bands across the top, waist and hem are navy blue, although it's hard to tell the difference with the black bow. There is no separate closure - the dress simply slips on over your head. No fabric tag is present, but it is clearly a lightweight silk with an extremely finely ribbed texture (I'm at a loss at the moment for the proper term for this fabric.) The dress is not lined. Labeled Italian size 40 which is considered equivalent to a US size 4, and sometimes 6. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size and compare with a similar dress that fits you. MEASUREMENTS - Underarm chest measurement is 34" - Waist is 33-34" - Hips are 39" - Length is 34" from top of bow. CONDITION Excellent condition without any notable flaws.
