The fire opal beads are sorted by hand and arranged in graduating size to enhance the stones' fiery effect and allow the necklace to lay beautifully on the neck. Made by hand in New York, complete with 18-karat gold-plated finishings, the length is adjustable with an extender chain, making this especially easy to stack and layer with our collection of semi-precious necklaces. Material The Sadie Necklace is made by hand in New York of gradient sized fire opal beads with a 1.5" gold plated extender with lobster clasp closure. All opals have natural variances in color and markings that make each one unique. We recommend storing necklaces in their dust bag while not in use. Avoid contact with water, perfume, and other chemicals, including hairspray and lotion, which should be used before placement on the body.
