The CIGA Design Series X watches are powered by the brand’s in-house calibre CD-01, which is designed meticulously to complement the skeleton dial of the collection. The self-winding CD-01 showcases a minimalist web of skeleton bridges that reveal the intricacies of the fully visible gear train, along with the cutaway mainspring barrel positioned at 12 o’clock and the balance wheel at six. The movement contributes immensely to th watch's visual appeal, particularly the constant motion of the balance wheel. Interestingly, the mainspring barrel doubles as a practical power reserve indicator. The finishing on the CD-01 is deliberately understated, featuring matte blasting across the bridges and a DLC-coated skeleton rotor, with its central segment in perlage.
