Radical conceptual designer Martin Margiela founded his eponymous couture house in 1988 and quickly established himself at the forefront of the Belgian fashion avant-garde. Today the label is run by Glenn Martens, who has maintained the brand’s intellectual blend of conceptualism and luxury. The Maison launches the Dress-age handbag, crafted from soft pebbled calfskin. With an equestrian spin, the handbag features classic leatherwork and refined lines, combining unconscious glamour with gestural design. It follows a trapezoid shape with contrast dual-wear strap detail. The studded base allows the bag to stand, and the inner is adorned with the logo. Maison Margiela's signature, the four stitches, appear at the back, the opposite of a label.
