In the '90s, Naoki Takizawa was experimenting with how far the brand could incorporate technology into fashion, notably by employing fabrics used in space development. This season, he played with textures through dull-silver polyester, high-shine metallics, and other types of more-or-less reflective coatings and fabrics. This coat is build through an intricate system of panels and seams, with pincers of seaming in the back. It is quite heavy and warm, and it is also equipped with a set of military-inspired pockets, solid hardware, and a concealed hood. Although some of the coating on the right shoulder has rubbed off over the years, it is in good condition.
