A brogue shoe designed after the EMEROR™ golf shoe, originally released in 1970. The upper is made from domestic leather crafted in Himeji, one of Japan's most renowned leather-producing regions, using the world-famous "Kobe Beef" leather, finished by Japanese artisans employing traditional techniques. While maintaining the classic elegance of leather shoes that THE ONITSUKA is known for, we've focused on enhancing comfort. Special attention has been given to improving flexibility and cushioning, resulting in a lighter and more comfortable fit. The midsole is made with highly responsive foam material from heel to toe, maximizing both cushioning and flexibility. The heel of the sole is equipped with Alpha Gel Foam to enhance shock absorption. The insole design incorporates foam materials of different firmness levels, maintaining cushioning while adding support to reduce arch collapse and heel instability. The outsole is made from a durable rubber sponge that combines both durability and cushioning.
