Produced in a Japanese cupro fabric with a wax-dipped finish, the Rover Shirt is a hybrid between a shirt and a lightweight jacket, cut oversized with a length that falls past the hip. It features a hood with an adjustable drawstring tunnel to cinch around the neck, a wide placket, large functional welt pockets, back pleating at the neck to add volume, and classic shirt sleeve cuffs. This fabric is crafted using a paraffin coating process that transforms a lightweight cotton cupro into a structured, durable, and water-repellent material. The treatment creates a distinctive chalk-marked surface that changes with every fold and crease, giving each piece its own evolving character. While the fabric feels firm at first, it gradually softens and molds to its wearer, becoming more comfortable over time. Additionally, the paraffin will change colour and develop a natural patina with long-term use.
