The Kapital Monkey Cisco Jeans made out of the iconic Century Denim combines traditional Japan with the modern West. The No. 5+S denim is dyed with indigo and kakishibu (juice of the persimmon). In addition, the denim is reinforced with indigo dyed sashiko stitched cotton yarn, which looks decorative and gives the denim its unique appearance. When washed, the different dyes mix and the denim ages in many color fades, creating a very unique patina. The cut of the Kapital Monkey Cisco Century Denim is inspired by an old Levi's® buckle back jeans, which is a slightly tapered cut below the knee with a straight bottom.
