Description
The Nike Air Max 97 “Black/Metallic Gold” is a go-anywhere colorway of the popular retro running shoe by Nike. Given the premium treatment with luxurious gold accents, this stealthy Air Max 97 can be worn on a daily basis as it excels in hiding dirt, smudges, and whatever else sticks to shoes from regular wear. Black mesh is underlaid beneath the wavy black leather panels on the upper. A single Metallic Gold panel above the black leather mudguard breaks up the look. Elsewhere, Nike adds a gold Swoosh near the black rubber midsole and places a Swoosh dubrae atop the black shoelaces. Gold “Air Max” detailing can be found on the heel tab and a full-length Air cushioning system underfoot provides a responsive ride. Release date: Fall 2020.
