The Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Silver/Chlorine Blue” is a versatile colorway of the vintage performance running shoe that was released as part of the model’s 25th anniversary. Reminiscent of the Air Max 97’s original “Polar Obsidian” colorway that debuted in 1997, the “Metallic Silver/Chlorine Blue” updates the style in an appealing way that includes wavy navy leather overlays against a Metallic Silver mesh base. Tonal leather overlays also appear on the shoe, as does a Metallic Silver leather mudguard above the white foam midsole. A small blue Swoosh logo is embroidered on the sides and “Air Max” branding appears on the heel tab. Additional Swoosh detailing can be found on the tongue. A full-length Max Air cushioning unit under the midsole completes the iconic design. Release date: August 4, 2022
