The Undefeated x Nike Air Max 97 “UCLA” is a special collaboration between the Los Angeles sneaker boutique and Nike that references the team uniform colors of the UCLA Bruins. Undefeated, a California based sneaker boutique, shares the same home city of the Bruins, the school in which this colorway of the Air Max 97 is loosely based on. Midwest Gold and Aero Blue detailing can be found on embroidered Nike branding on the tongue and pull tab. The Bruin-themed color combination also appears on the piping above the white leather mudguard and on the insoles. Undefeated outfits the upper’s mesh detailing in white to match the rest of the leather piping. Blue Air Max branding is located on the heel. Underfoot, a full length visible Air cushioning unit provides a supportive ride to the wearer. Release date: January 8, 2021.
